Utah Visit: Ian & Tykena's Wedding!

Ian and Tykena were happily married on November 8, 2008 at the Fort Douglas Chapel (on the U of U campus). It was a very nice wedding and always seems to go quickly. I did take any pictures during the ceremony because I didn't want to ruin the moment! So here are some shots afterward of some of the people that came:
A view of the chapel
Neighbor friends
Kris & Rosie
Lissa, Sam & Robbie (and Viva)
Bishop Wadsworth performed the marriage
Signing the official Marriage License!

Here are some shots while we waited to be arranged for group shots
The photographer

The reception was held at a relatives church, and the set up looked great.
The happy couple!
The signing table
The struggle to make this video happen!
Some of the groom's men
The infamous line
Awesome Mike!
Joe, cousin Stuart, Sam

I arranged the flowers on the cake, unfortunately the flowers meant to adorn the cake went missing, so we improvised.

For some strange reason I didn't take a picture of the band actually playing. I also didn't take pictures of anyone dancing! Which is totally lame of me. But Mike was smart enough to video some of the awesome dancing by Joe, which you can see here! Mike also got Nate and Tykena dancing. The wedding was a success. Ian and Tykena are married and we are all excited. In more recent news they are expecting! Here is a picture of their fetus at 12 weeks. Totally crazy and awesome.

Yeah for blogs!! It is so nice to see what the two of you have been up to. For some weird but awesome reason I was able to check out blogs today (I haven't been able to blog or see other peoples blogs since they installed the new "corporate network" at work about a month ago)and I was really happy to see some of your recent adventures. Our house in Salt Lake is finally under contract and our house search is beginning. We will keep you posted!
